Chris Baxter of Zoom Baits has been touring around most of Georgia and the southeast raising awareness for ovarian cancer after his wife was diagnosed a couple years ago. They have held galas the past few years with the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance (GOCA) to raise money with different giveaways and auctions. Baxter even offered up a fish trip to raise money.
He was recently featured in the Atlanta Journal Constitution for his promotion of ovarian cancer awareness. No he wants to let folks know about a great tournament focused on raising money for GOCA. The tournament is on Clark Hill June 7 and offers $10,000 for first place and $1,000 for big bass.
If you think you’ll be in the area and looking to fish for a great cause, sign up for the tournament, donate to the cause, or get more information for a friend at this link.
