Finesse fishing has been all the rage over the last several years. One of the hottest finesse baits to hit the market recently is the Geecrack Imo Kemushi Stick Worm. The Geecrack Imo Kemushi Stick Worm is a specialized fishing lure designed for targeting any species of bass in a wide range of scenarios. It stands out for its unique design, versatile applications, and high-quality construction, appealing to both novice and experienced anglers.
KEMUSHI BUILD
The Imo Kemushi Stick Worm boasts a short, stubby profile and numerous skirt-like strands. Similar to other dice-style baits, it’s great for a wide range of finesse scenarios. Made from durable materials, the body of this bait can withstand a large number of fish, all without compromising its fish-catching action.
This bait is available in a wide variety of colors, each designed to match local forage and water conditions. The color selection includes both natural and bright options, catering to a wide variety of bass fishing scenarios. This bait comes in both a 2.35- and 3.75-inch version, perfect for various calibers of bass. The texture of the material provides excellent grip for hooks, ensuring that it stays securely attached during use.
RIGGING OPTIONS
One of the standout features of the Imo Kemushi Stick Worm is its versatility. It can be fished in a variety of ways including on a drop shot, Ned rigged, or even as a trailer on a finesse jig. I’ve rigged this bait using a number of these methods, however my favorite is by far a Ned rig.
When rigged on a Ned head, the bait exhibits a subtle wiggle that can trigger strikes from otherwise disinterested fish, giving off an imitation of a bug or other type of insect. Its buoyancy allows it to float at rest, which is perfect for this style of rigging. A few of my favorite places to throw this bait include around stumps, shell beds and off types of hard structure. I typically use a 1/6-ounce Ned head when using the Kemushi Stick Worm, however I’ll slightly adjust the weight depending on the depth I’m targeting.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH THE KEMUSHI STICK WORM
I’ve had the opportunity to use the Kemushi stick worm for the last several months, and I’ve grown to really enjoy this style of lure. I’ve used this bait in a wide variety of scenarios, however I’ve found a few where it really shines. On my local fisheries there’s tons of smallmouth bass suspended on points, feeding up before the winter. The slow fall and unique action of this bait is perfect for getting these suspended fish to eat, especially when paired with a ned head.
I’ve used the Imo Kemushi a bunch throughout the fall, and it’s really been one of my go to lures whenever fish are both suspended and relating to the bottom. While I’ve only used this bait throughout the fall, I predict it will have some great spring time applications as well. The unique finesse action this bait provides will be perfect for targeting finicky bass on bed. This bait will also be a great choice for targeting shallow spring time cruisers, and I’m really excited to test this lure out throughout all four seasons of the year.
WHY YOU NEED THE IMO KEMUSHI STICK WORM
The Geecrack Imo Kemushi Stick Worm is an exceptional lure that combines quality, versatility, and performance. Its realistic design and effective action make it a must-have for any serious angler. I’ve really enjoyed using this bait on my local fisheries here in east Tennessee, and I’m confident you’ll find success with the Kemushi Stick Worm in your local area as well.
