PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH DOBYNS RODS
I first started using Dobyns rods during my freshman year of college. I was initially introduced to this company through the generous discount they offered to collegiate anglers, however I remained a Dobyn’s customer due to their quality products and attention to detail. The first Dobyns rod I ever purchased was the DC 703SF. This is a 7-foot medium action spinning rod, and I’ve since bought a handful more since my initial purchase.
These rods are high quality, and I’m a huge fan of both their overall feel and performance. I’ve always preferred a cork handle on my fishing rods, and it’s a feature I really enjoyed on the Champion XP series of rods. Furthermore, the blanks used to construct these rods are truly top notch. They are both light weight and sensitive, and I have no issue using them for a wide range of bass fishing applications. These rods are fairly durable, however when one does break they have a fantastic warranty program and customer service that’s sure to get you back on the water in a reasonable amount of time.
WHY YOU NEED A DOBYNS
I’ve used Dobyns Champion XP rods for the better part of my fishing career, and it’s likely the most prevalent rod in my fishing arsenal. I use the Champion XP series of rod because of their permanence, customer service and overall price point. No matter what application you’re looking to improve on, the Champion XP series of rods has one that’s sure to perform. If you’re looking to add a new rod to your bass fishing arsenal, I highly recommend checking out the Dobyns Champion XP series of rods.
