The Shimano Aldebaran in know for being one of the lightest low profile bait casting reels ever made, but how does it hold up to frog fishing? Fishing heavy grass with hard hook sets and no drag can be the torture test of all reels. In the past I have had gear teeth brake on similar reels in these situations, so I wanted to torture test this reel. It has put up with continued abuse with out failure yet. It’s a little reel that packs a punch!
