Wes Campbell, president of TTI-Blakemore, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019 from natural causes. His father, John Campbell, invented the Tru-Turn hook in 1958. Wes continued his father’s tradition to helping others catch fish with the “Hook That Strikes Back” for over 45 years.
His love and passion for other people’s well-being stemmed from his love of God, family and church. Known for his “gift of gab”, he lightened folks’ hearts immediately with a quick joke or even a Bible quote. Wes put himself last when it came to friends and family.
He was awarded the Christ for King medal from the Catholic church for his dedication to community, other people and the church.
Wes is survived by his wife Kerry, son Ryon, daughter Taira, brothers Steve and Johnny.
