Despite its controversial history, the vessel has some impressive features including a supercharged Mercury Verado 400 horsepower motor, push button start, a Minn Kota Ulterra 36-volt electric trolling motor and other high end features.
Valued at $130,000 by authorities, the current highest bid stands at $80,000 as of June 27. Bidding concludes at 4 p.m. MDT on July 23. Prospective buyers can inspect the boat at the Dempsey Fishing Access Area in Lakeside Marblehead, Ohio, on July 13, 2024.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife. This money will support conservation efforts and law enforcement activities aimed at protecting the state’s wildlife and apprehending offenders like Runyan and Cominsky.
