Skeeter, a leader in performance fishing boats, will host its annual Owners’ Tournament on Lake Fork at the Lake Fork Marina and Hotel in Alba, Texas, June 3 through 6, 2021. Commemorating the 27th annual tournament, Skeeter owners from across the country will celebrate the world’s first bass boat and compete to win cash and prizes over the course of the two-day tournament.
“We postponed our Owners’ Tournament in 2020, and the Skeeter team greatly missed hosting this annual event. We’re pleased to bring it back in 2021, and determined to make it the best yet,” said Jeff Stone, Sr. Vice President/General Manager of Skeeter Boats’ Kilgore, Texas factory and corporate headquarters. “Though things will look a little different this year with social distancing practices in place, we expect a great turn out and can’t wait to see the anglers reel in some big fish.”
With hourly big bass prizes up for grabs, competitors have 130 chances to get paid for their catches. In addition, there is a Junior Division for anglers 13 and under, and a Top Skeeter Lady Division – everyone can compete to win. The overall big bass winner will receive a Skeeter FXRâ„¢20 with a 250-horsepower Yamaha V MAX SHO ®, while the angler with the biggest catch under the slot will win a Yamaha Wolverine X4 ® XT-R ® Side-by-Side.
“This event is our way of thanking all Skeeter boat owners and celebrating the sport we all love. We look forward to seeing everyone in June,” said JoAnne O’Bryant, Sr. Marketing Projects Manager.
