Skeet Reese was fishing the Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour on Table Rock Lake this past weekend and not only witnessed but was also able to provide aid in a wild single boat wreck that he captured on video. You can see in the video that the boat hooks and the angler is catapulted into the water. Reese and his marshall race over to the angler and get him in the boat just as the boat, that is half in the water on its side, flips completely upside down.
The angler said he lost control when the boat hooked in the waves. Thankfully he did not appear to have serious injuries and that Reese and his marshall were there to help. A wild start to tournament morning for sure.
This angler was smartly wearing his PFD and kill switch and avoided a very serious situation by doing both. Glad to see everyone in this video safe and sound with PFD on and kill switches used. This is a horrible thing that happened for one angler but a great reminder for all the rest of us why we should always wear a PFD and have a kill switch hooked up.
