Major League Fishing announced today that they have added Ram Trucks to their ever growing sponsor list. RAM has added outdoor packages to their trucks in recent years and this marks a new foray into fishing tournament sponsorship for the vehicle maker.
“We couldn’t be more pleased to bring one of the great names in trucks on board at Major League Fishing,” said league Commissioner Don Rucks. “Ram trucks are everywhere at fishing tournaments all over the country, and we believe their brand is a natural fit for Major League Fishing.”
Major League Fishing recently concluded filming for its second event: Jack Link’s Major League Fishing, the General Tire Summit Cup. The Summit Cup, filmed on Chautauqua Lake in Western New York. The event will be televised beginning on January 3, 2013, on Outdoor Channel. The Summit Cup’s Championship Round will be broadcast on NBC on February 9. Subsequent to the Championship Round’s air.
