It had previously been reported that Leo Hindery Jr. and Intermedia Outdoors was going to be purchasing The Outdoor Channel. Now it appears that deal has been turned down and out bid, and the new owners will be Kroenke Sports and Entertainment, the group that also happens to own WFN, the World Fishing Network.
This is probably good for fans and supporters of hunting and fishing programming as there was a lot of speculation and minor controversy over Hindery buying an outdoor programming channel being a major democratic fund-raiser and the battle over gun control raging.
