We’ve all heard about the enormous sizes that brown trout can reach, but it’s hard to wrap your brain around this recent catch from Arkansas.
According to a report from KARK 4 News, angler Calvin Johnston has caught the third-largest brown trout in Arkansas history. The 38.7-pound, 37.5-inch trout’s near-record status was confirmed by Christy Graham with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
The fish was reportedly caught in the White River in Cotter, Arkansas.
