Xpress Boats of Hot Springs, Arkansas has announced Rory A. Herndon will succeed his father Rodney Herndon as the President of Xpress Boats and Veranda Marine effective January 1, 2016.
Rodney Herndon stated that the company is poised and positioned for continued, suc- cessful growth as we transition to the next generation and phase of our business. Rory is capable, competent and ammassed a stellar team focused on continuing the legacy established by his grandfather 50 years ago.
Xpress Boats is family owned and operated by the Herndon family since 1966. Nearly 50 years ago in an old schoolhouse in Friendship, AR Kermit Bryant’s dream was to develop the original “all-welded†aluminum boat. Today Xpress operates out of a state of the art manufacturing facility in Hot Springs, AR producing top of the line boats for just about any application.
