Family, Friends and colleagues of Travis are raising funds to donate to the Travis Ely Scholarship fund.

Travis passed away all too soon on Monday, October 16, 2023 following a tragic automobile accident while driving home. He and his team partner were returning from the Association of College Anglers Collegiate Bass Fishing Series event on Lake Dardanelle in Russellville, Arkansas. Travis was a resident of Nashville, Ind. and current student at Purdue University.

While at Purdue, Travis was on the Purdue University Bass Fishing Team, where he was known as a talented and accomplished angler among his fishing peers. He was a founding member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (Purdue Chapter) and served on their board. This past summer, Travis accepted and worked a Co-Op position with Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, Missouri, where he was hoping to work full-time after graduation.

Other memberships include the Nashville Christian Church, where he was active as a youth leader and the Brown County Fishing Club. Travis was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed deer, turkey & mushroom hunting. Most of all, his true passion was his love for his family and being a friend to everyone. Travis always welcomed you with a smile and left by saying, “God is Good!”

Please support this fund to help keep Travis’ legacy alive by donating to this GoFundMe Page.
