Crappie Expo 2020 Destination Announced

If you thought Crappie Expo 2019 was awesome — and it was — Crappie Expo 2020 and the Mr. Crappie $100K Invitational Crappie Classic Tournament promises to be bigger and better! This year’s event will be held October 29 through November 1 at the Branson Convention Center and Table Rock Lake State Park in Branson, Missouri. In addition to the consumer show and World’s Largest Fish Fry, 100 of the top crappie-fishing teams in America will compete in the $100,000 Mr. Crappie Invitational on Table Rock Lake.

Event founder and organizer Wally Marshall is “Mr. Crappie,” and plans to grow the event he started last year which drew more than 45,000 fans to Hot Springs, Arkansas.

“The Crappie Expo is the largest consumer crappie and panfish event in our great sport,” Marshall said. “Crappie Expo 2020 will include over 100 crappie-related companies from all over the U.S.A. We’ll have boat and tackle manufacturers showing and selling their products, tackle dealers offering the latest and greatest fishing gear, expert instruction from top fishing pros, daily music concerts, plus the World’s Largest Fish Fry and the sport’s most prestigious tournament. We’ll also have a drawing for a free Ranger boat!”

“Branson is a one-of-a-kind family vacation destination nestled in the lakeside beauty of the Ozark Mountains with dozens of live performance theaters, three pristine lakes, an international award-winning theme park, and lots of attractions and unique museums,” said Kirk Elmquist, VP Sports Development for Branson Chamber of Commerce and CVB. “The Expo will be near the Historic Downtown district and the Branson Landing, a town center-style shopping and dining complex along Lake Taneycomo. We look forward to welcoming crappie lovers from all over this fall.”
