One person has been airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center after the Leatherwood Marina on Kentucky Lake went up in flames this weekend. Sources say the fire was caused by a boat explosion.
Multiple agencies respond
Stewart County Fire and Rescue were among many agencies that responded to the situation. The Paris Landing Volunteer Fire Department also assisted in the effort to put the flames out.
TWRA is urging boaters to stay away from the area, as there is a lot of debris from the fire still in the water. Several agencies remain on the scene for environmental clean up.
