We fished out of one of the coolest aluminum fishing boats this past spring when we were invited to get a sneak peek at the new Xpress Boats Xclusive Series X19. It’s a 19-foot all-welded aluminum boat with a whopping 95-inch beam capable of handling a big motor, up to a 200-horsepower outboard with hydraulic steering.
It has a ton of storage, rides awesome and fishes great. We were extremely impressed though at how well the boat handles at high speed. We had it up to 60 mph and couldn’t believe how well it cornered and handled choppy water.
It was an absolute blast to drive with their Hyper Lift Hull that lets it get up on pad and run like a fiberglass boat, while still having the durability and toughness of an aluminum boat. Xpress is the original all-welded boat, so they have a ton of experience in making rock-solid hulls that perform more like fiberglass than aluminum.
Their Xclusive Series is geared towards the avid angler and gives the angler big boat options in a smaller aluminum package.

Here are some of the photos we shot on our test run of the boat with our friends from Xpress Boats and Yamaha Outboards.
