Timmy Horton’s new fishing show, “Timmy Horton Outdoors Show Presented by Bass Pro Shops” is scheduled to begin in January 2013 on the World Fishing Network and the Pursuit Channel. The new show will have a very strong emphasis on the educational aspects of angling that both novice and tournament anglers can learn from.
“This is something that I have wanted to do for a long time,” said Horton, 2000 B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year. “Knowing that I have a way to reach the fans on a weekly basis through television is so cool. Teaching is something I have always enjoyed and I believe it will be notable to the viewers.”
Horton’s new television show will reach a huge audience between the two networks, with every single show being recorded on public waters including Pickwick Lake, Okeechobee and Lake Guntersville. The lakes will continue being selected on a nationwide basis in order to enhance viewers’ learning opportunities.
